Let’s start here: Work ON your business, not IN your business.
There are seven days in a week – pick ONE: This is the day you will do the above, work ON your business, not IN it. Doesn’t matter what day of the week, just choose one that works best for you and make it your day.
Always have seven projects: Keep a list of seven projects, and tackle one each week. Choose something to improve your business, start at the top, and when you complete it move a new one to the bottom of the list. Projects such as building a new agent recruiting plan, find a new location, setup a new real estate tech platform, research – make what ever project you choose your priority that day.
Don’t let Pop Tart Syndrome impede your productivity – Pop Tart Syndrome is getting interrupted, popping up to deal with it, and then coming back to your project and trying to figure out where you left off – you lose time and momentum. Mike’s advice? Work from home on your Sevens day.
